Our Third Team - the C-team
Our third team in the Stockport League plays in the Limit League division, which was specifically set up for four-board teams with a total grade limit of 400. Individual team members on this team may not have a grade (ECF) greater than 120. So it is intended to give more evenly matched games to players with grades at the lower end. Since this league was set up for the 2013-2014 season, under Keith Hodgson's able captaincy, the pinnacle of our success was winning the league in that year but sadly never quite managing to retain this position since as competition between clubs within the league intensified.
